“In teaching one on one lessons, I believe it’s my mission to help students dig as deeply as possible into the music that inspires them most. Whatever song, artist, or style gets you excited about picking up your instrument deserves attention and study.

My lesson materials are informed by my own experiences in both academic and professional performance settings. I strive to help my students find a healthy balance between diligent study, and creative exploration in the way they approach all facets of their musicianship. Every musician learns and plays differently, and it is my job as a teacher to help each student develop and explore their own unique relationship to their instrument and creative practice. “

Therefore, I teach students of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds.
