Recorded Music
Up There is an exploration of Ambrose’s relationship to Otsego County and rural New York state. Each piece examines a different place, memory, or feeling from his childhood through present day, rediscovering new meaning in familiar surroundings.
While rooted firmly in contemporary jazz, the music draws from Ambrose’s varied influences – both past and present – including heavy metal, prog-rock, folk, and blues.

Solo ‘ 24 — released April 19th 2024
“My first solo guitar recording, and the first album release under my own name. It was recorded live at The Historic Wilber Mansion in Oneonta NY on a snowy and cold (8 degrees) January evening in front a small audience. I feel this record was successful in capturing the intimate feeling of the performance itself, and an honest snapshot of my musical and artistic approach at the time.” - Wyatt
Audio recorded by Daniel Velle, all mixing and mastering by Matt Niedbalski. Released on Signal Path Records.
killdeer trio - released May 11th, 2023
“Killdeer Trio is a collaborative project between myself, bassist Evan Jagels, and drummer Sebastian Green. The album was recorded in one day during a session that was originally meant to produce a 4 song EP, but fatefully turned into the tracks for our debut album. Working with this band really opened the door to the type of musical hybridization of jazz/improvised music and “popular music” that I had been looking for since I first became interested in improvised music. As we continue to evolve as individual players and as a group, I enjoy revisiting this album to see where it all started.” - Wyatt
Recorded at Slingerland Studios by Sam Whedon on Nov. 19th, 2022
Mixed and Mastered by Matt Niedbalski (2198 Music/Signal Path Records/Charles Cornell)
